At Saraswati Bal Mandir Sr, Sec. School, we understand our unique role in safe guarding the health of all students of the school. The school runs a mini dispensary equipped first aid boxes with all the necessary medicines and bandages under the supervision of well-trained teachers. It provides 'First- Aid' and other medicines to the students free of cost as and when need to treat ordinary physical disorder or temporary ailments during the running school hours. There is also a provision for handling emergencies during the running school hours. Time to time medical check-up camps are organised through qualified doctors in the school. Minor ailments will be attended to immediately. In Emergency first-aid is provided. In case of any accident, the child is rushed to a hospital if the situation so worsens. For us, the health of our students is of primary concern. SBM not only provides medical attention to those who are unwell but also conducts yearly health check-ups for the students. Monthly health check-ups are held class-wise for all the students. We not only take care of the students’ health but also advise them on hygiene and preventive care that may be needed during the years of rapid physical growth. In case the child is not feeling well, the teacher takes them to the doctor. Our School places high importance on the health and safety of its students. Not only is this important for the general well-being of each individual child, but children who are healthy and happy are likely to derive maximum benefit from the academic and pastoral programmes offered by the school.
